About Orphanage Visits
WMD’s Orphanage Visits campaign brings joy, companionship, and essential supplies to children growing up without parents in orphanages across Pakistan. More than material support, these visits deliver what money cannot buy — genuine human connection and the message that someone cares.
What We Do During Visits
- Recreational Activities — Games, sports, art workshops, and fun activities that bring smiles and laughter
- Educational Sessions — Storytelling, motivational talks, and interactive learning activities
- Gift Distribution — Books, toys, stationery, clothing, and personal care items
- Birthday Celebrations — Organizing birthday parties for children who have never had one
- Festival Events — Eid celebrations, Independence Day events, and seasonal festivities
- Snacks & Meals — Special meals, cakes, ice cream, and treats during each visit
Building Lasting Relationships
We don’t just visit once and disappear. Our teams build ongoing relationships with orphanages, returning regularly so children know they are valued and remembered. Many volunteers develop personal bonds with individual children, becoming mentors and role models.
