WMD’s Ramzan Rashan Drive is our flagship annual campaign that ensures no family goes hungry during the holy month of Ramadan. Every year, our teams identify, verify, and deliver comprehensive ration packages to hundreds of families across multiple cities in Pakistan.

How It Works

• Community Identification — Local volunteers and community members help identify families in need through door-to-door surveys and referrals
• Case Verification — Our team personally visits each family to assess their situation, family size, income source, and living conditions
• Package Assembly — Volunteers gather at distribution centers to pack comprehensive ration bags containing flour, rice, lentils, cooking oil, sugar, tea, dates, and other Ramadan essentials
• Door-to-Door Delivery — Packages are delivered directly to families’ homes to preserve their dignity and privacy

What Each Package Contains

Each Ramzan Rashan package is designed to sustain a family of 5-7 members for the entire month of Ramadan:

• 20 kg Flour (Atta)
• 5 kg Rice
• 5 kg Sugar
• 3 liters Cooking Oil
• 2 kg Lentils (mixed daal)
• 1 kg Dates
• Tea, spices, and other essentials

Iftar Dastarkhwan

Alongside ration distribution, WMD organizes community Iftar events (Iftar Dastarkhwan) during Ramadan, providing hot meals to daily-wage laborers, travelers, and underprivileged individuals who cannot afford to break their fast properly.

Cities Covered

Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Lahore — with plans to expand to more cities each year.
