About Flood Relief Operations
When disasters strike, WMD is among the first organizations to respond. Our Flood Relief Operations campaign provides rapid humanitarian aid to communities devastated by floods across Pakistan — from the 2022 Balochistan super floods to the 2025 Buner flood emergency.
Major Operations
Balochistan Floods (2022)
- First responders in Jaffarabad and Dera Allah Yar districts
- Emergency food packages, clean water, and medical supplies distributed
- Tent camps and temporary shelter coordination for displaced families
- Medical camps set up in flood-affected zones
Sindh Flood Relief (2024)
- Emergency ration distribution to displaced families across rural Sindh
- Medical camps providing free healthcare in flood-affected villages
- Clean water distribution and hygiene kit provision
Buner Flood Relief (2025)
- On-ground emergency response within 48 hours of disaster
- Food, medicine, and essential supplies distribution
- Coordination with local authorities and military for rescue operations
Our Response Protocol
- Rapid Assessment — Within hours of a disaster, our assessment team identifies affected areas and urgent needs
- Resource Mobilization — Emergency fundraising and supply procurement begins immediately
- Ground Deployment — Volunteer teams deploy to affected areas with relief supplies
- Distribution — Food, medical supplies, shelter materials, and clean water distributed to verified families
- Follow-up — Extended support including rehabilitation and recovery assistance
