About Blood Support Program
WMD’s Blood Support Program is a life-saving initiative that maintains a network of voluntary blood donors across Pakistan. We ensure that safe, screened blood is available within hours whenever a patient needs it — day or night, regardless of location.
How It Works
- 24/7 Blood Helpline — Requests come in via WhatsApp, phone calls, and social media at any time of day or night
- Donor Network — We maintain a verified database of voluntary donors organized by blood group and city
- Rapid Matching — Within hours of a request, we identify and coordinate with compatible donors near the patient’s hospital
- Hospital Coordination — Our team coordinates directly with hospital blood banks to ensure smooth donation and transfusion
